PROJECT X Rifle shafts One of the most popular steel shafts on the USPGA golf tour. As used by PGA Tour Professional Phil MicKelson and many others. This complex Rifle was in development for more than two years, and represents the most advanced steel shaft technology. Each shaft in a set has a different taper per inch – a dedicated constant taper. A longer taper rate results in more energy transfer to the club head.
